In the same survey, 71% admitted they had made a major strategic decision in the last 12 months based primarily on intuition because the relevant data either wasn't available in time, wasn't in a usable format, or contradicted itself across systems. This is the enterprise data paradox: investment in data infrastructure has never been higher, yet the quality of operational decisions has barely improved. The problem isn't the data.
