Typical scopes cover tax codes on invoices, withholding workflows you define, and return-prep extracts for advisors. Integration with local requirements (e.g. FBR, ZATCA, customs authority portals) is scoped per project; we never claim certification or approval.
Invoice tax codes and ledger control
Finance teams need sales and purchase invoices to carry the right tax codes, rates, and recoverable flags for each jurisdiction they trade in. A custom tax management system usually extends ERP tax configuration, Sales Invoice and Purchase Invoice posting, Payment Entry, Journal Entry, and period closing so tax lines stay in the General Ledger and Trial Balance. Multi-entity charts need explicit mapping—we assemble those rules after discovery and do not sell a branded tax authority appliance or pretend Axix replaces your licensed tax advisor.
Withholding, returns prep, and audit trails
Withholding tax on supplier payments, output versus input summaries, and exportable schedules for advisors are common custom modules. Audit-friendly journals and credit or debit notes keep adjustments traceable when invoices reverse. Return-filing UX that pretends to be an official portal is out of scope unless you explicitly commission portal integration work under counsel. Threshold alerts and exception queues help controllers catch mis-coded invoices before close.
Authority portals and compliance honesty
Integration with local requirements (e.g. FBR, ZATCA, customs authority portals) is scoped per project. Axix implements technical connectors and field mappings you approve; legal interpretation, digital signatures, and formal certifications remain your counsel’s and auditor’s responsibility. We never invent approval badges or claim the build is government-certified. Sandbox versus production credentials stay under your security policy.
How delivery runs
Discovery lists entities, tax registrations, and invoice document types. Pilots often start with one company’s sales and purchase tax codes before withholding and return packs. Fixed Price or Dedicated Team engagements include NDA and a written matrix of which rules are in version one. Rate-table changes follow change control so mid-year reforms do not silently rewrite history. Parallel run periods compare old and new codes on sample invoices before cutover. Advisor extract formats are agreed in discovery so monthly packs do not surprise external tax teams. Sample invoice sets from each entity prove that recoverable versus non-recoverable flags match counsel’s matrix before go-live. Rollback keeps the prior tax table version available if a mid-month reform arrives.
