Custom Warehouse Automation Management System

Axix builds a custom warehouse automation management system on Axix ERP Stock Inventory with scanner and IoT integrations you supply—not a finished WMS appliance we resell. Typical scopes cover directed putaway, pick confirmation, and exception queues tied to warehouse balances. Fixed Price or Dedicated Team follows discovery of device vendors and wave rules.

Stock truth before automation theater

Automation fails when handhelds disagree with ERP on-hand. A custom warehouse automation management system usually starts from Stock Inventory item masters, warehouses, and real-time multi-warehouse balances, then adds directed tasks for putaway, pick, pack, and cycle count. Batch and serial tracking apply when your catalog requires them. We assemble workflows on Axix stock patterns—we do not claim a branded robotics fleet or invent AS/RS hardware brands.

Scanners and IoT integrations

Barcode or RFID scanners, conveyor sensors, and weight scales integrate through documented vendor APIs or middleware you choose. Axix engineers adapters and task UIs; hardware and SIM contracts stay with you. Missing-scan and short-pick exceptions land in queues with reason codes. We do not invent meter-level accuracy beyond the device vendor’s published behavior. Quiet hours and severity tiers keep night shifts from alert fatigue.

Inbound ASN and outbound waves

Inbound ASNs can pre-build receive tasks; outbound waves group picks by route or carrier cutoff when rules are scoped. Selling Delivery Notes and Buying receipts stay aligned so finance sees the same movements. Dedicated WMS suites beyond stock marketing remain outside claims unless configured as custom work. Integration with local requirements (e.g. FBR, ZATCA, customs authority portals) is scoped per project if bonded warehouse docs need portal fields—we never claim certification or approval.

Delivery for warehouse operations

Discovery maps SKU profiles, device vendors, and which warehouses automate first. Pilots often automate receive and pick in one site before multi-warehouse waves. Engagements use Fixed Price or Dedicated Team with NDA—no free-trial warehouse automation product claim. Labor dashboards show tasks per hour for the windows you define—not invented productivity guarantees. Slotting suggestions can be rule-based when discovery provides velocity classes; we do not invent AI slotting brands. Returns putaway reuses directed location rules so reverse logistics does not dump stock in aisle ends. Training covers exception override rights so supervisors do not unlock every short pick casually. Optional label print adapters follow printer APIs you license. Location capacity rules can refuse putaway when a bin’s volume or weight limit would be exceeded based on item masters you maintain. Cross-dock tasks skip reserve storage when ASN and outbound wave share the same receive day under rules you approve. Cycle-count freezes can lock a bin from picks until count variance posts, so automation does not move stock mid-count.

What we build

  • Directed putaway, pick, and cycle-count tasks
  • Scanner and IoT adapter integrations
  • Exception queues for short picks and missing scans
  • ASN-driven inbound receive when scoped
  • Wave picking rules for outbound
  • ERP stock balance alignment across warehouses

Built on Axix platform modules

Custom systems are assembled from existing Axix modules—not sold as a finished off-the-shelf product for this industry until a product offering is published.

  • ERP: stock-inventory (items, warehouses, balances, batch/serial when scoped)
  • ERP: selling / buying document links for Delivery Note and receipts
  • Custom software engineering for task engines, scanner/IoT adapters, and dashboards
  • Customer-supplied scanners, sensors, and printer hardware

How a project runs

  1. 1

    Discovery

Scope workflows, integrations, compliance constraints, and which Axix platform modules fit before any build starts.

  2. 2

    Pilot

Ship a focused pilot on agreed modules with feedback loops, so stakeholders validate fit before wider rollout.

  3. 3

    Rollout

Phased go-live, training, and handover under NDA with IP transfer on completion unless otherwise agreed.

Engagement models: Fixed Price for scoped builds, or Dedicated Team for an Axix-managed delivery pod. Staff Augmentation is available when you need specialists inside your ceremonies.
