Estimate versions and rate libraries
Estimators need reusable rate libraries, assembly catalogs, and versioned bids that lock when submitted. A custom construction cost estimation system usually stores BOQ lines, resource rates, and contingency policies you define, then compares estimate versus actual once Projects costing begins. Markups and regional rate tables follow discovery—not a global cost-index product claim. We do not invent automatic quantity takeoff from drawings beyond documented IDP extraction with human review.

IDP can classify and extract fields from BOQ PDFs or spreadsheets into review queues with confidence highlighting. Buying & Procurement can raise Material Requests or Purchase Orders from awarded packages when procurement is in scope. Supplier quotes compare against estimate rates so commercial managers see variance early. Integration with local requirements (e.g. FBR, ZATCA, customs authority portals) is scoped per project if supplier invoices need e-invoicing—we never claim certification or approval. A broader site-ops path remains a separate custom construction management system engagement.
Delivery for estimating desks
Discovery maps WBS depth, who may unlock versions, and which rate books apply per region. Pilots often estimate one package type before multi-trade libraries. Engagements use Fixed Price or Dedicated Team with NDA—no free-trial estimating product claim. Audit exports show who changed a rate after freeze.
