Custom Customs Clearance Management System

Axix builds a custom customs clearance management system on Axix IDP and document workflows—not a finished broker product or authority portal. Typical scopes cover declaration packs, HS-code checklists you maintain, hold and release status, and broker handoffs. A trade compliance management system view can add denied-party checks you supply. We never claim certification or approval.

Declaration packs and clearance status

Brokers and in-house compliance teams need one place for commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, and declaration drafts before goods move. A custom customs clearance management system usually stores shipment folders, checklist completion, and statuses such as draft, lodged, held, or released—without pretending Axix is the customs authority. Staff assignments, SLA clocks, and due dates keep handoffs visible across night shifts. Comments and attachments stay with the shipment so auditors see why a hold cleared.

Trade compliance management system controls

When buyers ask for a trade compliance management system, discovery covers screening lists, license flags, and dual-use notes you already operate under counsel. We can wire checklist gates and evidence uploads; we do not sell a sanctioned-party data feed as an Axix product. HS codes and duty estimates remain your master data unless you commission a reference import. Escalation paths to trade counsel are configured as workflow steps—not automated legal advice.

IDP intake and authority portals

IDP extracts fields from trade PDFs into structured review queues when schemas are scoped—human review stays mandatory for low-confidence values. Integration with local requirements (e.g. FBR, ZATCA, customs authority portals) is scoped per project. Axix may build API or file adapters you specify; legal filing, digital signatures, and formal certifications stay with your licensed broker or counsel. We never claim certification or approval. Failed portal submissions surface as operational exceptions, not silent success.

Delivery for compliance teams

Discovery maps document types per mode (air, sea, land) and who may mark released. Pilots often clear one lane’s checklist before multi-broker rollouts. Fixed Price or Dedicated Team engagements include NDA and a written RACI—no free-trial customs product claim. Training covers checklist ownership so brokers and importers do not duplicate uploads. Hold reasons are coded lists you maintain so analytics can show recurring document gaps. Released shipments can deep-link to ERP PO or SO numbers when those references exist. Time-to-release metrics help compliance managers see where document gaps delay lodgement. Broker scorecards stay internal analytics—never published as Axix performance promises for unnamed brokers. Night-shift lodgement queues keep the same checklist rules as daytime desks so status meaning does not drift.

What we build

  • Shipment folders and customs document checklists
  • Clearance status: draft, lodged, held, released
  • Broker and internal handoff assignments
  • Trade compliance checklist gates when scoped
  • IDP extraction for trade PDFs with human review
  • Authority portal adapters only when explicitly scoped

Built on Axix platform modules

Custom systems are assembled from existing Axix modules—not sold as a finished off-the-shelf product for this industry until a product offering is published.

  • IDP: trade document classify/extract/review (schemas scoped per project)
  • Custom software engineering for clearance workflows, checklists, and status boards
  • Optional ERP links to Buying/Selling shipment references
  • Optional authority portal adapters—scoped per project, never certified claims

How a project runs

  1. 1

    Discovery

Scope workflows, integrations, compliance constraints, and which Axix platform modules fit before any build starts.

  2. 2

    Pilot

Ship a focused pilot on agreed modules with feedback loops, so stakeholders validate fit before wider rollout.

  3. 3

    Rollout

Phased go-live, training, and handover under NDA with IP transfer on completion unless otherwise agreed.

Engagement models: Fixed Price for scoped builds, or Dedicated Team for an Axix-managed delivery pod. Staff Augmentation is available when you need specialists inside your ceremonies.
