Agentic Document Processing in Multi-Site Manufacturing: A Field Study

We evaluate agentic intelligent document processing (IDP) pipelines deployed across three manufacturing sites, measuring straight-through processing rates, exception handling load, and finance reconciliation latency when invoices, GRNs, and customs documents are ingested at scale. Results show measurable reduction in manual handoffs when OCR, validation rules, and human-in-the-loop gates are orchestrated as a single workflow rather than disconnected tools.
